The Den

Tucked away alongside the edge of an ancient woodland The Den is a hive of Fox and Badger activity!

During the summer months daylight visits are commonplace from both species and after dark things really get intense!

You will be shooting under constant lighting with the aid of flash equipment provided by us. The Den is exclusively an OVERNIGHT experience once in the hide you need to remain there until morning, this is to ensure minimal disturbance of sensitive species.

Along with the Foxes and Badgers our resident Tawny and Barn Owls might just pay you a visit under the cover of darkness!

All the Birds and mammals are wild and while we hope that you enjoy many visits and a busy day – nothing is guaranteed.

Under NO circumstances should you enter the area in front of the hide, you may cause sensitive species to be disrupted – in the event of a problem please contact us immediately

Session start and finish times –

Winter 7pm – Sunrise
Summer 8pm – Sunrise

Please avoid ANY strong smelling deoderant/aftershave/perfumes as this will impact your experience.

You will be escorted into the hide and given a full brief on your session and we will then leave you to enjoy it on completion of your session you will make your way back to your vehicle.

A walk of approximately 300yrds over moderate to rough ground is required, this will be wet and boggy in winter please dress accordingly.

Warm clothes are ESSENTIAL for the colder months please ensure you are dressed approprietly as once you are in you cannot just nip back to the car for an extra layer.
